KGB :

To our provincial Government.
Don't be too proud to accept ideas from other parties or individuals.
You as a government don't know all the answers nor do the people of NL expect you to know all the answers....BUT we expect you to be mature enough to accept other people and parties input.
We are all striving for the same goal to put our people to work and save our fishing industry....its who we are.
Why not form a committee of fishermen, union, government, processing, and other knowledgable people who have been around and put together an industry from the fish in the ocean to the fish on our plate.
Let everyone have a piece of the action, not one person or persons becoming millionaires and all others working for peanuts.
Put companies like OCI, Clearwater and all these who want to rape our province in their place.
Lets see what Daley can do, King was too immature and spiteful to help the situation.

P F Murphy :

Fish is the future of this province along with hydro after 2042; the oil is just a minor blip in our history. It's too bad that people like "Give-away" King can't see the future beyond his own riding and getting re-elected. Perhaps he should have been looking for a government office to be opened in his district before he starts his anti-union ranting. Anyone who does not see the value of the fishery to this province should go off to Toronto or Ottawa where his brain already is.

bravo to minister daley;he doin what his counterpart(mr. king) couldn't find time to do....too busy I guess kickin the union.
its about time somebody remembered the lessons of renewal resources as compared to unrenewal resources.
the oil will be long gone 1 of these days and fish will still be here.....maybe not as much money involved with fishery but it will always be the soul of the rural communities and economic force which drives them.
time for some people to ask q's to some of the men and women who commute back and forth and ask them what they thinks of the lifestyle.

DErrick :

No one pays top dollar, except us in the future for power, give it up, forget fish as the tax payers have transferred to much money to too few.
