Darrell :

Animal abusers and people who bully both should be ashamed of themselves and they should pay dearly for their crimes. I agree 5 years sounds like a good sentence and the full 5 years too.

Classy. :

They do need to be made an example of!!!!If they SPCA loose this case, what will be the point of taking animal abusers to court. The vet knows what happened to the dog,she is not stupid.Strange how can pay Randy Piercey, but would not take the poor suffering dog to the vet.I don't think 5 years is enough.

Weak Justice system :

I agree obvious. That poor dog was obviously neglected. Bull crap that dog was ever kept in the house as the owner stated. The video that I saw on the news showed a very sick dog.Things like this will continue to happen as long as the justice system continues to impose weak sentences. What the hell does the judge need to review? I think it is quite obvious what was going on!! NEGLECT.

Obvious :

What is there to think about!!! Did this judge even look at the picture of that poor dog?? Stop wasting our tax money and get on with it. 5 years in jail each for the both of them and a FULL 5 years to. These two low lifes obviously need to be made an example of. When are we going to get a judge that is NOT AFRAID to lay down the law and start throwing some jail time around for these dead beats. Wow, hey judge, are you a dog owner?? Imagine this inbred couple doing this to your dog!! 5 years!!!!!
