before making these drastic changes so quickly and without consultation, the government should ensure the whole of nfld/labrador is serviced with high speed internet.my god ,when will all this monstrosity end.

Does DFO know what it is doing? Service will be available only online and some don't have internet access. This don't make sense.

More proof how "out of touch" Stephen Harper and his Government policies are with life in the real Newfoundland and Labrador! Perhaps the savings from this will help fund his new F35's

Death of Rural Newfoundland & Labrador :

I know of some communities on the Northern Peninsula who do not have internet, do not have cable tv, can only receive CBC on the radio and cell phones barely work! These are well populated communities, with generations of tax paying familes living there, yet they still have little to no services.
