Ex police :

There is no mention of the R.C.M.P. or are they already gone. And yes 23 to Ottawa is excessive. It looks like the RNC is once again looking for exposure and support to expand throughout the province. Police are on the front lines and I do respect them very much.

Marty :

I appreciate the service provided by our law enforcement but 23 travelled to Ottawa for the service there... Was that a reasonable expenditure? I agree with having a presence but that sounds excessive to me.

Don :

23 three police officers to Ottawa ?????????
Could we not have sent three ???? This must have cost the taxpayer $30,000. I, like everyone else, have the utmost respect for our police officers but 23 on a weekend holiday , way to much.

Joe :

Who pays? WE do of course! We, the ones who call those same people at 3am when somebody is breaking into our house or beating the living hell out of our family members, or about to kill somebody! Is that the best you can do? "Who pays"? I wonder which side of the law you're on? No trouble to know. I gladly pay my share and wish there I could do more.
I, for one, would like to show some support for our law enforcement on here.
