Danielle grew up in St. John' s, but now resides in the other city (Mount Pearl). She graduated from Memorial University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Geography. Danielle got her first taste of news while participating in a fundraising campaign in her final semester; Live in for Literacy. Just a few months later she packed up and moved across the country to study journalism at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. Danielle joined the VOCM news team in the summer of 2009 as an intern, she went on to finish her degree and was back at VOCM full time within days of finishing classes. In her short career, Danielle has covered everything from council meetings and funding announcements to fires and accidents. Danielle now splits her time between politics and breaking news.
