Janelle Kelly is from Mount Pearl. After attending Memorial University, Janelle traveled to Oakville, Ontario, and completed her diploma in Broadcast Journalism at Sheridan College. While at Sheridan, Janelle hosted and produced a number of live-to-web television shows, and was invited to be one of the first student members of the Radio Television News Directors Association. After completing an internship at CTV’s Canada AM in Toronto, Janelle decided she was ready to head home. In October 2008 she became one of VOCM's evening news readers, and was awarded the VOCM Cares Memorial Broadcast Scholarship. Janelle is now VOCM's court reporter.
