Bob began his career in news with VOCM in St. John’s in 1966 and for the past four decades has been deeply involved in all aspects of reporting. He took over the position as News Director at CHCM in Marystown in the late 60s and has been reporting on events in communities along the south coast from Burgeo to Trepassey including the French Islands of St. Pierre et Miquelon ever since. One of his main duties is writing and editing the midday 12:30 News on CHCM . He has been recognized with awards of excellence locally, regionally and nationally.
