Paul was born and raised in St. John’s and has spent his entire life entertaining his home province.  He began his broadcasting career with VOCM in August, 1970 with an all-night shift, and then an evening show that spanned 8 years.  From there, Paul has been a popular part of mornings in the St. John's area  for many years.  Currently, he is looking after the traffic reports on the VOCM morning show and hosting the VOCM Saturday night Cabin Party. Paul is also well known for his many broadcasts “on location,”  including one from a 20,000-foot altitude as guest of the Canadian Coast Guard.  Paul has given many hours of his time as a Master of Ceremonies and Guest Speaker.  An honorary member of 3 service clubs, Paul is also recognized as an Elite Member of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Quarter Century Club.  In his spare time,this father of three enjoys relaxing with his wife at their summer home.
